📦 Installation Steps

Backend Setup:

# Navigate to backend
cd backend

# Install new dependencies (Windows)
setup-and-test.bat

# OR manually install (Mac/Linux)
npm install

# This installs:
# - node-cron@^3.0.3 (Payment reminder scheduler)
# - moment-timezone@^0.5.43 (Date/time handling)

Frontend Setup:

# Navigate to frontend
cd luckychit

# Get dependencies (already in pubspec.yaml)
flutter pub get

🚀 Starting the Application

1. Start Backend:

cd backend
npm run dev

You should see:

✅ Database models synchronized
⏰ Starting payment reminder scheduler...
Payment reminder scheduler started (9:00 AM IST daily)
🚀 Server running on port 3000
📱 WhatsApp share: http://localhost:3000/api/share
🔔 Notifications: http://localhost:3000/api/notifications

2. Start Flutter App:

cd luckychit
flutter run

Or use your IDE's run button.

1. Test Dark Mode:

Open app
Navigate to Settings (sidebar menu)
Toggle "Dark Mode" switch
See smooth theme transition!

2. Test Notifications:

Look at app bar - notification bell icon with badge
Click notification icon
See notification center

Note: This needs to be tested on a real device with WhatsApp installed!

Q: WhatsApp not opening? A: Must test on real device with WhatsApp installed
